The Company
LeveLok Corporation,
headquartered in Poulsbo, Washington, was incorporated in 1995
with a vision to develop, manufacture and distribute
high-reliability safety products to the utility,
telecommunications and contracting industries. Today, the
company distributes its products worldwide.
Their flagship product is the LeveLok LL-STB-1 ladder
leveler. It was originally invented by a building contractor who
needed the safety and stability of a leveler, but was frustrated
by the poor reliability of the levelers then available. LeveLok began manufacturing and
distributing the leveler in 1996. In 1997 the company acquired
the exclusive rights to the patent.
"The leveler was the perfect
first product for us," says Phil Lanzafame, LeveLok's president.
"The competing products were mediocre at best -- either
difficult to use, cumbersome to install or had too short a life expectancy in the field. The simplicity and security
inherent in the design of the LeveLok leveler/stabilizer made it
the clear choice for our benchmark product."
Selected LeveLok products are
manufactured in their overseas facilities, which feature
cutting-edge, state-of-the-art machinery and manufacturing
processes ranging from ordinary milling and stamping to precise
laser-cutting for critical components. The factory is capable of
producing thousands of units per day, and rigorous Quality
Assurance standards ensure the reliability and quality of every LeveLok product.

The
marina on Liberty Bay in Poulsbo |
The town of Poulsbo was
originally a
fishing village, founded by a hardy group of Norwegian
immigrants. Today it is largely a tourist town, with marinas and
a winding street full of quaint shops and restaurants. Wrapping
itself around Liberty Bay, Poulsbo affords a magnificent view of
the Olympic Mountain range. Located in Washington's Puget Sound
area, Poulsbo is a small town with easy access to nearby
Seattle, enabling LeveLok to ship its products anywhere in the
world by land, sea or air.
