A conventional extension ladder is a marvelous tool, but it was not designed to set up on something round - especially something as small as a utility pole. Unfortunately, workers in the utility and cable industries are forced to set their ladders up against poles on a daily basis. It's a dangerous situation that can easily result in a "kickout".

Enter the LeveLok Ladder Safety Strap. It's a long, durable webbed polyester strap with easy-to-use snap rings and cam buckles. The snaps lock around each side of the ladder (between the 4th and 5th rungs) to provide a secure attachment. Then the strap is wrapped one full turn around the pole, and both sides are snugged down, stabilizing the ladder.

With the LeveLok Ladder Safety Strap properly installed, side rail movement is limited to a maximum of 3 inches. And it takes less than a minute to set up! 

Each Ladder Safety Strap includes a nylon mesh storage bag with a Velcro® closure.

There are many times when a ladder must be set in an "impossible" location - over a window or against a gutter.

Our Ladder Stabilizer was custom made for just such an occasion. Made from durable tubular aluminum, this light but strong unit attaches easily to any wood or aluminum single-section or extension ladder with a pair of U-bolts and wing nuts. (It can also be attached to any fiberglass ladder, using the Quick Release Mount described below.)

Once the stabilizer is installed, it will improve the safety of any ladder. Its rubber feet (see inset) span a distance of 48" and will prevent damage to siding and windows. Our Ladder Stabilizer provides a comfortable working standoff distance of 12".

Our Quick-Release Ladder Mount lets you quickly attach our Aluminum Ladder Stabilizer (see above) to virtually any fiberglass, wood or aluminum single-section or extension ladder -- in seconds.

The Quick-Release Mount fastens to our STB series Traditional Ladder Stabilizer with two pins. Once installed, all you have to do to attach the Stabilizer to any ladder is set the mount on two adjacent ladder rungs and insert the locking pin.

If you’re looking for a standout stabilizer that will fit in a smaller space (and a smaller budget) than our STB series above, you’ll find it in our aluminum Standout Brackets. Weighing in at only 1.5 lbs., these sturdy aluminum brackets can be attached to most extension or sectional ladders with open rungs by simply compressing the two bracket ends and slipping them into the rung openings. They are held securely in place by the tension and the angle on the bracket. To detach them, just compress and pull.

Once installed, our Standout Brackets will protect gutters and windows, spanning 12 inches beyond each side of your ladder, and providing a standoff distance of 12 inches.

Plus, the EPDM cushioned rubber foam that covers the bends provides a smooth, gripping surface that not only offers superior surface protection, but fights against side slippage as well.

Having to maneuver any large extension ladder can be a chore - until now, that is!

This optional handle can be conveniently installed on the side of nearly any ladder, for the utmost in ergonomic comfort and safety. You can now carry your ladder like a suitcase! (And the handle doesn't limit the use of the ladder in any way.)

Installation of the Tuff-Grip handle is a snap. Simply determine the precise balance point of your ladder, then mount the Tuff-Grip handle at that spot.

No matter what your company does -- siding or roofing installation, painting, maintenance or remodeling -- our Ladder Jacks make it a snap to set up a safe and secure scaffold in nothing flat. Simply slide the rung mount over the ladder rungs, slip in the pin and clip to lock the Ladder Jack into place, and then level the platform body arm and lock it into place. Now slip your plank onto the platform arm, and adjust the arm’s built-in end stop to capture the plank. That’s all there is to it!

Our Ladder Jacks are super-strong, constructed with extruded aluminum. The Rung grips are both welded and riveted for extra strength. The result is a jack that’s rated for 250lb, Type I duty, and can be used with all Type I or Type IA extension ladders -- on either the inner or outer face.

The platform arm on each Ladder Jack has 9 possible positions, making it easy to level your planks. Two models are available, one to handle planks up to 18" wide (the LJ-SB-2) or 22" wide (the LJ-LB-3). Both models include a built-in, adjustable end stop that captures the plank.

The body mounts to the ladder by slipping it over the ladder rungs. The LJ-SB-2 mounts to adjacent rungs (see the photo above); the LJ-LB-3 mounts on 3 rungs, giving it added stability for greater platform widths. Their unique non-jamming rung grips make our Ladder Jacks easier to remove and reposition. Once in place, the body locks in place with a pin and clip. And when it’s time to take down your scaffold, our Ladder Jacks fold flat for transport or storage.
