Finally -- there is a product that will help deter children and others from climbing on unattended ladders on your work sites! (Some people even say it protects your "behind" as well as your ladder.)

The Ladder Guard is a protective vinyl cover that wraps around both sides of the bottom 5 feet of a ladder, making it very difficult to climb. The result is a situation that helps
prevent accidental injury and “attractive nuisance” liability issues.

Here’s how it works: Place the two attached hooks over the fifth ladder rung of the Ladder Guard, then pull the other end of the ladder cover under the bottom rung and up the back. Then simply attach it to the back rung with the elastic cords provided. Your Ladder Guard is now on duty!

When it’s not in use, this ladder cover rolls up into a small bundle that secures with the elastic cords for easy storage (see drawing above).

The Ladder Guard measures 12” wide by 10 ft. long. It is made of heavy (18 oz.) UV-treated vinyl. It’s both sun and water resistant. Its brilliant red warning sign on the safety yellow background leaves no doubt that unauthorized personnel are to “KEEP OFF!!”
