It’s an
extension ladder that quickly turns into a double-sided step
ladder. And it's as tough as a snake.
Our versatile
Fiber Combo Ladder is a Special Duty Type 1AA, 375-lb. rated fiberglass ladder that can
quickly and easily adapt to a variety of situations. Its unique combination
of "industrial strength" features make it as rugged as it is
versatile.
  To use the Fiber Combo as an
extension ladder, simply extend its fly section. Heavy-duty
locking hooks neatly and securely slip over the round rungs, establishing
positive locking points one-rung apart. Two sets of locking
guides provide ease of operation and increased rigidity, while
safely limiting ladder extension.
Usable ladder length can extend up to 13 feet, depending on the
model (see the chart below).

Converting
the Fiber Combo to a double-sided step ladder is a snap. Just
fully retract the fly section, then spread the two
sections at the bottom. The pin on the fly section will lock into
place in the heavy-duty steel hinge, enabling the two sections to
smoothly pivot apart as you spread the bottoms of the sections to
their maximum distance. Locking braces on each side keep the ladder
locked securely in its step-ladder configuration. Along with the
locking mechanisms, the inside spreader connection at the front of
the ladder ensures maximum rigidity.
Our Fiber Combo offers several
additional safety features, too: The steel rubber-plated
V-shaped bracket at the top of its fly section provides stability
when leaning the ladder against poles or corners. Non-skid
rubber rail-end caps prevent slipping or marring. On all four
legs you'll find wide "rounded hoop" utility-style safety shoes,
covered with a slip-resistant rubber tread. And the Fiber Combo's
round rungs are deeply serrated for maximum traction.
